Building for various activities are in symbolic buildings (prasadavastu) and residential (grhavastu) divided. Symbolic buildings include temples, palaces, pavilions, seats of government, etc. Grhavastu includes not only homes but also all ancillary structures such as grain storage, stables, gate houses, etc. While the above two categories of Vastu are immobile (sthira), transport means and Seats are called caravastu (movable objects). It is called Vastu because they serve as temporary resting places
